Old Forge Crossing is a condominium community located on the pastoral site of a pre-Revolutionary farm.
Thirty-one buildings of one and two-story units are sited around the original historic mansion, now used as the administrative office and clubhouse. The lushly landscaped property also includes three tennis courts, a large swimming pool, a pond, stream and barn used for meetings and parties.
Ducks, geese, an ever-changing variety of birds and an occasional deer share our property.
Most, but not all of the homes are owner occupied. The residents are all ages, from little children and teens to working and retired professionals. They represent different backgrounds, religions and races and come together in frequent social activities and serve on committees or the executive board.
Almost completely hidden from the nearby road and surrounded by trees, the serene setting does not hint at the bustling communities surrounding it. It is located less than a mile from major shopping areas, including the largest mall on the east coast, and several major roads including the Pennsylvania Turnpike, the Schuylkill Expressway to Philadelphia, Route 422 to Pottstown and Route 202, extending west from New Jersey to the State of Delaware. Valley Forge National Park is on the same road just a couple of miles to the north.
Old Forge Crossing is in Tredyffrin Township in Chester County, PA, known for its many parks and highly-rated school system.
